In stock deliveries take 7-12 business days anywhere in the continental United States.  Custom orders will take 90-120 days to be delivered. 

The courier service will call you ahead of time to schedule a delivery. The driver only delivers to your curbside. The customer will need at least 2-6 people, dependent on size, to help with unloading.

No, handles and lock sold separately due the wide rang of products and quality.  

Metal & Hammer doors do not come with a screen but you can order the screen with purchase. The screen is built at the same time as your door to ensure proper fit.

Some of our bigger pivot doors come with a sidelight. We also offer the opportunity to  include matching sidelights as a custom order with your door.

You can Pre-order the product and it will be shipped to you at a later date, which usually takes about 90-120 days. If you'd like, you can place the order by clicking the Pre-Order button. If you want changes on the door or any additions, simply specify at time of order.

All of our doors come with operable glass. Operable glass means it opens independently from the doors which allow for easy cleaning and ventilation.

Yes, all our doors are pre-hung.

Metal & Hammer does not offer installations. However, we can introduce you to an installation company whom we’ve worked with for a long time.

Yes, Metal & Hammer doors are insulted with foam injection.

The threshold is included and part of the frame.

Unfortunately, we do not carry them in-stock as they are made for special orders only. We also do not service or ship outside Los Angeles for gates and railings. 

Yes, for custom orders only.

Low - E Clear Windows  help  block infrared light from penetrating the glass from the outside. Which helps both with the cost of climate control and reduces the exposure of sunlight on your furniture.

Sidelights:Vertical windows on one or both sides of a door, allowing more light and enhancing aesthetics.

Transoms:Horizontal windows above a door or window, bringing in additional light and serving a decorative purpose.

All custom order pricing are subject to: 

- Size

- Weight 

- Materials such as Iron or Aluminum

- Additions  such as adding  sidelights

- Upgrades such as color, type of Glass, etc.

We send you an invoice and ask a portion of 50% deposit on order. When the deposit has been made, invoice and contract are created to ensure the correct design, size, and configuration details, to meet your requirements and approval. Final payment will be collected prior to shipping the order.

The entire production process takes an estimated  90-120 days to complete. 

This does not include the design process  to ensure the perfect look for your dream door, or the shipment process.

Bifold doors operate by folding along a central hinge. When opened, the panels fold against each other, creating a compact and space-saving design. This allows for a wider opening than traditional swinging doors and is ideal for areas with limited space.

We manufacture the doors to offer outstanding security features, including:

Bi-fold doors can be configured to open inwards or outwards depending on your preference. What this means is when the doors are folded back, the panels will either sit inside your home or open onto your outdoor space.

Metal & Hammer makes our bifold doors out of aluminum because it’s:

• easy to maintain
• thermally efficient when fitted with a thermal break

Aluminum bifold doors are the most durable and hence the longest lasting. They have a life expectancy of about 45 years, far outlasting any other material.

Our Bifold Doors come in  White or Matte Black. However,  it is possible to get a custom bifold made with custom colors for an extra cost.

Aluminum pivot doors offer several advantages, including lightweight construction, resistance to rust and corrosion, low maintenance requirements, and the ability to be customized in various styles and finishes.

Yes, A double-paned pivot door is a door with two layers of glass panes separated by a space filled with air or insulating gas, in our case we use Argon Gas. This design enhances thermal insulation and soundproofing compared to single-pane doors. Double-paned pivot doors are often chosen for their energy efficiency and ability to provide a quieter indoor environment.

Aluminum pivot doors are generally low maintenance due to the material's resistance to corrosion. Double-paned doors may require occasional cleaning of the glass surfaces. Regular inspection of hinges and seals is recommended to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
