WARRANTY

 Metal & Hammer warrants all Goods against manufacturing defects for 10 years on the iron door structure and mechanics, 5 years on the finish,  and glass panels for 1 year, excluding weather stripping,  foam insulation, and door sweep.

The beauty of handcrafted doors is that every piece is different - slight bubbles, lines, and surface imperfections are all characteristics of doors and are not to be considered as defects.

Metal & Hammer, at its sole discretion, will repair at a place of its choosing or replace all warranted defective goods.

This warranty begins on the date of sale. All warranties are null and void if the installation is found by  Metal & Hammer, to be faulty in workmanship, in its sole discretion.

Metal & Hammer products may contain handmade components, therefore variations in color or imperfect "markings" may occur due to the nature of the artistry. Product finishes will naturally age relative to exposure and is therefore not covered by any warranty either implied or expressed. Natural wear and tear on the finish is not considered a defect, but a natural process and is not covered by warranty.

Scratches, or damages caused by accident, misuse, abuse, or improper installation (by an unrelated party) are not covered under this warranty.

This warranty does not cover any damage related to paint, acid, or other chemicals.  This warranty does not cover tape or any other adhesive type product that is put directly onto the door or door jamb.  This will subsequently void the finish warranty on our products. 

Our doors are dual paned and may experience condensation in freezing or humid climates. This is not considered a defect and will not damage the door. 

Metal & Hammer assumes no liability for any labor charges regarding the installation, removal, or reinstallation of doors. This warranty is strictly limited to the cost of repair of the product. Metal & Hammer  assumes no other liability. Locksets, hardware, and other door components are covered under the conditions of the separate hardware warranties, if applicable.

The purchaser acknowledges and agrees that their premises, including but not limited to the house and driveway, must be adequately equipped to accommodate the delivery of goods by a 40-foot truck. In the event that the purchaser is unable to accept delivery of the door due to inadequate facilities, they shall be responsible for any additional shipping fees, as well as storage charges incurred. Failure to accept delivery will result in a refund of the door purchase price, minus restocking fees. Shipping fees are non refundable. 

It is reasonable to expect some scratching or scuff marks as a result of handling during the installation  process, this is not considered a manufacturers' defect and is not covered under warranty.

All warranty claims must be approved by an authorized representative of Metal & Hammer.

Metal & Hammer has the right to view, inspect, examine any and all products claimed to be defective by customers. Failure of Customer to permit such access shall be deemed a waiver of all of Customer’s rights under such warranty.  Metal & Hammer Limited Warranty does not cover product that has been rendered unusable due to damage or mishandling.  Metal & Hammer supports our customers with a warranty that covers defective conditions based on industry standards of acceptability. We take a fair and objective view of any warranty situation, but it is important to understand that a warranty does not cover any and all problems that may occur. We urge you to call if you have questions or need further clarification on our warranty conditions or relating to any specific situation that you may encounter.

THE WARRANTIES STATED HEREIN ARE EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES (EXCEPT TITLE), EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.  Metal & Hammer, NEITHER ASSUMES NOR AUTHORIZES ANY OTHER PARTY TO ASSUME FOR IT, ANY OTHER LIABILITY. IN NO EVENT SHALL  Metal & Hammer BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
